Happy Easter!!! #becausehelives (Easter, Jamberry Update, life)

Happy Easter Y'all!!!! So.....How have you been????  Ive been good y'all!!!  Actually been super busy!  I can honestly say I didn't realize being a Jamberry Consultant would be this much work!!!!!!  Truthfully......I'm LOVING it!!!  With me being disabled , It really does feel good to be doing something!!!!  I'm starting to think that even if I make NO sales, I wouldn't even care!!  It would be nice, but, you get what I am saying!!!!  I am super stoked because I have 2 open parties going right now!!!!!  Ive even made me an office space........

BELIEVE All things are possible if you just believe

If you would like a sample, email me at blessedglamour@outlook.com

We colored Easter Eggs tonight!!! We had so much fun!!  We did the rice method!!!  To dye eggs this way you will need.......

  • rice
  • some cups (we used plastic)
  • food coloring
  • gloves
  • Easter eggs
Put some rice in each cup and put your gloves on!!  Add food coloring to the rice. Cover the opening of the cup and shake it real good to get the food coloring through all the rice.  Once you get the colors you want, take an egg and drop in into the rice, cover the top and SHAKE AWAY!!!  This is the final product.......

It was a big mess but, the boys loved it!

Once the boys went to bed, my daughter and myself had some things to do *wink wink*

I really dontt know what we were thinking!!  The buckets were too little to hold everything!! haha  Once we got the mess cleaned up, guess what!!??  The Easter Bunny came!!!!

poor Kota got sooooo little compared to Karsyn!!!  lol BUT I am proud of my daughter!!  We are truly blessed beyond measure!!

Now, onto a serious note!!!  PLEASE, don't forget the real reason of Easter!!  Our Savior!!  He was sent here to die for our sins and on the 3rd day, he was resurrected! I would love to share this talk from Elder Russell M. Nelson titled #BecauseHeLives

"One of the most significant of all scriptural phrases is found in Matthew 28:6, “He is not here: for he is risen.” Given by angelic messengers near an empty tomb, this proclamation declared that the Lord Jesus Christ had overcome death through His Atonement and Resurrection. Later He appeared to His Apostles and charged His followers to declare their witness to the world that He lives. As followers of the Lord Jesus Christ in these, the latter days, we have also been charged with testifying of the realities of the Savior’s Atonement and Resurrection. This Easter season gives each of us a personal opportunity to discover His sacrifice, embrace His teachings, and share His joy. Discover His Sacrifice During that first Easter season two millennia ago, the Lord suffered unspeakable agony in the Garden of Gethsemane and on the cross as He took upon Himself the sins and pains of all humankind. Betrayed by one He had called friend, He was arrested, scourged, mocked, and crucified. The Savior Himself has taught that this great sacrifice was for a purpose: “For behold, I, God, have suffered these things for all, that they might not suffer if they would repent; “But if they would not repent they must suffer even as I; “Which suffering caused myself, even God, the greatest of all, to tremble because of pain, and to bleed at every pore, and to suffer both body and spirit—and would that I might not drink the bitter cup, and shrink— “Nevertheless, glory be to the Father, and I partook and finished my preparations unto the children of men” (D&C 19:16–19). As we discover, through prayerful and purposeful study, the impact His mission in mortality has on us, the Holy Ghost can teach and testify to us of the Atonement’s eternal significance. Embrace His Teachings With the understanding that comes from discovering the power of His Atonement, we ask ourselves, as did the Jews of ancient Jerusalem, “What shall we do?” The Apostle Peter instructed them to be baptized. “Then they that gladly received his word were baptized” (see Acts 2:37–41). Likewise, we also need to embrace the Savior’s teachings. Indeed, embracing His teachings—and helping others do so—is the great work of these latter days. That is why we have missionaries; that is why we have temples—to bring the fullest blessings of the Atonement to faithful children of God. That is why we respond to our own calls from the Lord. When we comprehend His voluntary Atonement, any sense of sacrifice on our part becomes completely overshadowed by a profound sense of gratitude for the privilege of serving Him. Share His Joy During His brief ministry in the American hemisphere, the Savior observed that the Nephites had discovered His sacrifice and embraced His teachings, and He said unto them, “Blessed are ye because of your faith. And now behold, my joy is full” (3 Nephi 17:20). As we follow this pattern of discovering the power of the Savior’s Atonement and embracing His teachings, we experience the joy that comes from striving to be more like Him. As we do so, we naturally want to share our joy with those we love, inviting them to discover His sacrifice, embrace His teachings, and share in His joy. To share the joy of this Easter season, please visit HeLives.mormon.org to view a powerful video and share your testimony of the Savior using the social media hashtag #BecauseHeLives. Like those angelic messengers in the meridian of time, we also declare, “He is not here: for he is risen.” He lives. And because He lives we, too, can know “peace in this world, and eternal life in the world to come” (D&C 59:23)."

You can find the talk right here.

Anyways, I pray each and everyone of you have a beautiful Easter Sunday!!  I am so thankful for my Savior and his Atonement!!  I am thankful to my Heavenly Father for blessing us to be able to even celebrate Easter!!!

Please, #stayblessed!!

ITS OFFICIAL!!!!

Hey beauties!!!  I hope this blog finds you doing well!!!  I have to say I am super excited to announce that I have become a Jamberry consultant!  Yay!!  I am soooo doing a happy dance!!

Y'all know I have been on the fence about this decision.  I had a few quirks I had to get passed to know that I REALLY love my Jams!!!!  You cant sell anything if you don't stand behind it 110%!!  right??!! Well, with some help from my consultant and a  little practice,  I was able to solve my issues.

The 1st issue I was having was my tips weren't sealing properly.  This is something I have figured out from trail and error and practice!! Here are my biggest tips!

  1. Before doing ANYTHING after applying your wraps, let them cool completely!!!!
  2. I trim my nails down with nail clippers when  I trim off the excess wrap.  This is a personal preference, but.....it works!!!
  3. Use a glass file to file your edges down
Like I said, it has taken me a few manicures to get it right and find what works for me.  I am sure any consultant and customer can tell you that with time, you find your on personal way of applying them because everyone is different!!

Another issue I had was horrible cause it really shows I am getting old!!! So, for my older ladies.....this is for you!!! lol  My eyes are getting pretty bad with my old age.  When I measured my wrap and went to take the back off(cause it has a sticker like back)  I couldn't get my tweezers to get in between the wrap and the back!!!!  My consultant told me to try the orange stick and guess what!!??  Totally worked!!!!!!  So, my last manicure took me NO time and looks AMAZING!!  And I did it while watching my 2 year old grandson!!!

Faded Deco

Isn't this just pretty??  And perfect for Spring & Easter too!!  It was sooo fast I even had time to do a matching pedicure!!!!

How stinking adorable?

With NO dry time, I had plenty of time in the day to make forts and play with my grandson!

he was trying to NOT get a picture! He thought that was too funny!

he was spinning in circles

till he got dizzy and fell down

so, why not roll around??

GOTCHA!

he was getting sleepy

he LOVED the fort we made!

out

then in

you cant see me;)

Tomorrow I will be starting my Launch Party!!  I am really hoping some of y'all will go check my site out

 http://beyondblessedglamour.jamberrynails.net/

With Mother's Day right around the corner, what better way to treat her???  I know I always wanna find something different and this is much more exciting!

Or, better yet!!  For those of you mommies out there with lil mini me's.......Why not get your friends together.....order some adorable mommy & me sets and have a Mommy & Me party!!!  Go all out and add some tea!!  Your daughters will thank you!!!!!

I am super excited as I open a new chapter in my life and I cant wait to share it with you!!!!

As always.......#stayblessed!!

#jamberry #application

GGGGGOOOODDDDDDDD MMMOOORRRNNNIIINNNGGGGG RRREEEAAADDDEEERRRRSSSSS (insert best Robin Williams voice here!)  I pray that this blog finds each and everyone of you having a GREAT morning so far!! (hopefully!)  If not, remember this......

That's right....HUMP DAY!!  Almost Friday! lol I was gonna use the camel but, I think its getting a little over rated now!!  Don't you??

So, basically this is gonna be my #TerrificTuesday post, just coming at ya on a Weds Morning.  I think I am getting a kidney infection and my lower back has been legit killing me!!

OMGosh! I don't know what was just going on with my chrome browser app, but, I was typing away and nothing was showing up!!!  That sounds about right, something always trying to stop me from what I am trying to get done!!!!  If it makes you laugh, I swear I probably looked a little something like this

all jacked up on Mt Dew!!  lol (ion like Mt Dew lol)

Anyhoo!!  Man, I am in so much pain, this really sucks!!  I had to stop writing to lay down...once again!!  At this rate, Ill never finish this blog!!!!

I got NAIL MAIL yesterday!!!!  woot woot!!!  YAASSSSS, went to the mailbox and there it was, an adorable purple little envelope and inside?

reggae a go go; love spell; faded deco & shake ya tail feather

I GOT MY JAMBERRYS!!

I am so stoked!! And, they are so much prettier then they look online!!!  I couldn't wait to do my nails!!!  I got everything I needed.....
  • Hair dryer- I don't have a little heater yet, so, the hair dyer will do for now
  • orange stick- to make sure all my cuticles are pushed back and good to go
  • tweezers- to assist in keeping the tips of fingers off of the Jamberry nail shield as it's laid on the nail
  • alcohol wipes- for prepping the nail bed
  • Rubber Cuticle Pusher- I find this easiest to use for sealing your nail shield
  • Tiny Scissors- For trimming the nail shield once applied
  • nail buffer-  little trick for helping the shield stick
  • nail file- for filing the edges to complete your manicure!

Unfortunately I didn't even think to take pictures for my step by step application so here ya go!

*added trick I do*  I use my nail buffer to buff over the top of my nail before I lay the shield down.  This helps with the adhesive

I got almost all the way done with one hand and I got a call from my BFF that her little boy forgot his key and was locked out of the house!! It's really cold in Ga right now, so.....I had to throw on my shoes and coat and go pick him up...Ok ladies,  If I had been painting my nails and had to leave like that, in a hurry, when I got home.......my manicure wouldve looked like this

Then I would have had to taken off the polish and start aaalllllllll over again and by then Id be fed up and would've said screw it!!!!  HaHa  But, y'all....

When I got home and finished my hand, it looked like I never missed a beat!!!  How pretty is this! I am sooooo in love right now!!!!

So, I finally completed both of my hands.  The only part I had trouble with during the application process is when I cut the shields in half and you have to peel the back.  You see, I am old and have pretty bad eyes!!  lol It took me forever to get the tweezers in between the shield and backing!!!!

When I woke up this morning, I am having tip issues on 4 of my nails.  I am not sure what I am exactly doing wrong, but I am gonna try and re-seal them today and file to see if it helps!!!

I Promise to keep you updated on how they are holding up every few days!!

Interested in trying Jamberrys?? Contact me!  My contact form is  in the side bar!!!

Guess I am going to wrap this up, I am going back to bed.....and we "might" get snow where I live!!

Hope Y'all are warm & dry and as always #StayBlessed

#ManicMonday a little of this and that.......

Yes darlings, that is correct.....It is #ManicMonday once again.....lol  I like Mondays cause I can just talk and let y'all know how my lil bitty family is!!  Lol

This weather in Ga right now......PLEASE!!!  Someone give Mother Nature some meds!!!!  I am thinking she is going through "The Change"!!  Just because she is having hot flashes and stuff.....don't mean she needs to keep it so cold!!  UGH I have been a walking Popsicle for about a week now!  And I swear they are calling for spotty snow for the next 2 days here as well!!  I know its not gonna stick, but, come on people!!  Its Ga.....all you have to do is say snow and

BAM!

it's best to just stay home if possible!

she needs a UGA shirt on lol

looks like an apocalypse

lol, am I right??  I am pretty fed up with winter.  I am tired of being cold all the time and I would really love my bed back

glad they get to sleep

Between my 75 lb American Bulldog, 50 lb red bone, and 160 lb 12 year old son.....I can say I am NOT sleeping well these days!!!  The other night it was so cold we decided to not go anywhere and just order pizza for the night.

Kota approves

yum

Alright, so, how many of y'all are die hard NASCAR fans????????  NOT ME!  I used to be.  I just have not been able to get into it over the last few years since all of those rule changes!!  Not only that...  I mean, every single time I bought a shirt, key chain, hat, (anything) by the next season it was pretty useless.....know what I mean??  Finally,  I really got tired of seeing Jimmie Johnson win every year.  Anyhoo, the Daytona 500 was this past weekend.  We hung out at the house, cooked out and watched it as a family at home.  It was so funny watching my grandson get into it!  He kept saying BROOM! BROOM!!  And he got really intrigued every time he saw a wreck.

I've never seen him so still

all into it

On Sunday we let him sit on the 4 wheeler while it was a little warmer for about an hr!

he is growing too fast

vroom vroom

on the plus side to having my dogs in is I have been getting some nice cuddle time with my baby girl

not thrilled to be cold

don't mind her lazy eye
I didn't get my Jamberrys today in the mail (boo) I am really hoping they get here tomorrow!!  I haven't been able to log into my account for almost a week now and for some reason and  no one can tell me why that is??!!  If any of y'all are with Jamberry or consultants.....what can I do to fix this?  I cant log in to order anything or even check on my recent orders! (which totally sucks)

Anyhow, thanks for letting me share my family and thoughts with y'all!!  Please, remember,

Yaaaaaassssssssssssss!!! And as always, #stayblessed
