#wonderfulwednesday a few nail reviews

Yes! Yes!!  It is that time!!!!  Wonderful Wednesday!!!  Only thing is.......Most the issues I'm gonna talk about aren't very wonderful at all!!!! I hate negative blogs, but, if it saves you on wasting money and time on anything!!  I gotta just do it!  Just let y'all know! Id hope for the same thing from y'all!!  I know us moms, or in my case, Mimis'  Have NO TIME that can be wasted!!  Right??!!

I do wanna start with a little positive/ cuteness!!!  Here is the not so wonderful first, the weather here in Ga right now is CRAZY!!  Yall hear me??  Crazy!!  Like, freezing!!  Yesterday was cold, but not to bad.  We took a walk together!!  Had to just get out of the house a min!!  Cabin Fever maybe??  Anyhow, I caught this really cute picture yesterday.  Its my grandson chasing my son!!  I swear my grandson ran the whole walk!! lol

 

Yes, I did get to rock my cute heart sunglasses too!!  I think the sun peeked for maybe......10 mins!  I have decided I am hibernating until spring now!!  The temps right now are cold and its only gonna get colder!  NOOOOO, i need a safe word!!!!! PINEAPPLES!!!!

I also have to ask, why does time seem to go faster the older you get???  Last year at this time, my grandson was this adorable hunk of bald headed fat......

Now he is this independent, potty going, runs everything, BIG BOY!!!!!  Please!! Slow down time!

* I am super excited about this table he is sitting at!!  My g ma, who passed back in Sept., This was her table!!  I ate at this table when I was my grandsons age!!  That's 37 years this table has been in my family!!  I am so thankful I was given the opportunity to have this in my home.*

now to what my blog is really gonna  be about

As y'all now, from my previous post (here)  I am super excited that I finally got me some Jamberry nail wraps ordered!!  I got to try them about a month ago! Fell in absolute love!!!! <3  Last month I wasn't able to budget in an order so, I did the alternative!!  (plus I was wanting to test out the competition!!!!!)

The first thing I tried was the Sally Hansen  Polish strips!!

Super cute design, was really Loving the gold  snake skin look!!   Anyhow, My grandson opened the box so, when I tried to use them.....they didn't even stick to my nails!!  UGH!!  How Annoying!!!  I was so excited to try it and didn't even get to wear them!! BOO!!  I don't know if it had something to do with them being opened or what??

Next, I found a few different brands and designs on sale that I thought Id try...

ok, the second edge one was the first I tried......

super funky and super cute!!  They were easy to apply, and believe it or not......they lasted a whole 3 days!!!!!!!!  not to bad for 2.50 lol, but, I do wish they had a smaller size on this sheet!  If you look at my pinky nail, it is a little large around my nail bed!

The next set were super cute!!!!!

I did these for date night!!  Same way to apply as the rest!!  These had a few more sizes to choose from! yay!!  As soon as I went to leave, they were already peeling off!!!! BOO! By the time I got home.....

The next ones I tried I was hoping they were transparent.  I really was wanting to put them over this pretty orchid color I had bought!

See??  SOOO cute!!  Since I couldn't use them over the color, I used my orchid as accent nails!  They turned out really cute! And they even matched my laptop!!  They were easy to apply, but, if you look at my pointer finger in the picture above, it didn't apply as clean as the others!  I went to bed and woke up this morning just to find this......

 

(sorry for the funky lines! My new case on my iPhone is messing with the flash!) Anyhow, two had fallen off in my sleep and my thumb nail was almost peeled completely off too!!  That really sucks because I really loved the lace design on these strips!!!!!!!  All in all,

So, I do believe I will continue to use Jamberry wraps!!  Once I receive my full sheets, Ill do a day by day picture to show how well they hold up!!!!  KK???

Good Morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  So, about a month ago, I did a review on Jamberry Nail wraps!!!!  If you wanna read my personal review, go here.  Anyhoooooo, I have been wanting to order me some since I've done this review and guess what!! Last night, after 2 days of searching for the ones I love, I FINALLY got me 3 ordered!!!  With Jamberry, as always......if you buy 3 you get the 4th free!!  So, I have 4 sheets coming to me!!  AND, my beautiful hostess also closed out the party with another free sheet if ordered before midnight last night!! yay!!  I LOVE freebies!!!  I don't know what that sheet will be but, I'll share what I ordered and why! lol

The first sheet I ordered is called reggae a go go

Don't judge!!  I LOVE Bob Marley and this totally shows that!!  I love the funkiness to these!!  Another selling point is the fact that all the designs are graphically different as well!!

To tone it down a bit, I next ordered these called faded deco

Faded Deco is the pretty one to the left!!  While making my decisions on which ones I wanted, I was trying to be practical as possible!!  I want the most out of the wraps I chose!!  This one is sooo pretty and springy as well! These will be totes cute as a full set or to even use a color combo like above!!  I can use these as accent nails with regular polish too!!

this next set is called love spell

I have been wanting these since before valentines day!  due to certain circumstances I wasn't able to order these until last night!!  But, you know what??  That's OK because I am pretty sure I can rock these anytime!!!  I love the fact, once again, that its not just one design!!  It has a few to be able to mix and match this manicure!!  I am soooooo excited about these!!

My last set I ordered are called shake ya tail feather

How stinking adorable!!!  My thoughts with these are def gonna be perfect accent nails!!!!  I don''t think I am gonna be able to do a full set with these(may seem a little much for my taste)  But.....something like this is perfect......

these will also be perfect for a spring pedicure!!!!

I know many people will think Jamberrys are kind of pricey, but, look at the breakdown........

I mean, come on ladies......when I'd go to the salon, I'd pay pretty close to 50.00 on a mani/pedi!!  Then if I got cool designs and or stones and stuff, the price continued to add up.  Then, I'd be back in 2 weeks to get a fill in and at best, that would be another 15.00 (just for the nail fill in!!  That's not counting if I got my toes redone)  I don't know about y'all, But, I am disabled and and on a fixed income and that money eventually became too much for me.. That's what got me into doing my own nails and nail art.  But, I am not a professional and most of the time.......Id only get one hand done.  With my bipolar, sometimes I didn't fill like waiting on polish to dry, or I just ran out of patience with it!!!  Once I tried jamberry's, it was over!!  Easy to apply, saves money, perfect matching designs every time, and best of all......NO DRY TIME!!!!

I am thinking of becoming a consultant as well.....so! If you are interested in trying these wraps, let me know!!!  Id like to see if anyone would get these before I commit to selling! So, comment!!!   Give me ur personal opinion!! Once u try them, I just know you will LOVE them!!!  And there are 300+ designs to choose from!!

Manic Monday!!!!! anything goes!!

Hey Y'all!! I know, I know, once again........looooooonnnnggggg time!!! NO MORE!! I really swear. lol  How have my lovely beauties been??  I pray y'all have been doing just fine!!! 

So, #manicmonday!!!!??  Y'all know that means I am free to right about anything and in any order that I want!! This is my day to release anything that may be on my mind at any given time hahahaha!!

First thing first.......

                                                                       RIP Punk!!!!!

Punk was my kids paw paw on their dads side.  My ex-husbands dad.  This man right here.......y'all!!  I love this man like he is my own dad!!  I went through so much with this family but this man right here NEVER once judged me or treated me any differently no matter what me and his son were going through!!  He loved everybody and was a typical southern preacher.  He knew what our purpose in life was and his goal was to save anyone or anything he ever came into contact with!!  I have shared his birthday with him for the last 20 years and I am honestly gonna hate not being able to call him and cut up with him and tell him happy birthday anymore, which breaks my heart.  I do know he is home with our Heavenly Father and I know he is gonna be missed by so many!  I just hope my kids know that they have a lot of their paw paws ways and he will continue to live on....through them!

Next, I finally got me a new laptop so I can continue my blog!!  It is the cutest little thing ever!!  I am glad I found this.  I have been looking, trying to find a laptop that I like for a decent price.  I really hate making such large purchases!  Many of the little laptops I have found like the chromebooks and netbooks, have NO memory!! And I am a picture taker!! I need memory!!  lol  I found the HP stream notebook. 
The price? 210.00 after taxes
The memory? 2gb

The memory scares me but, it does come with 1gb with the cloud!!  It also has a place for jump drives and a SD card.  I pray memory will not be too big of a problem!  I also have my ICloud synced with the laptop, so, that's more memory right there!!  It has a webcam.......its really LOUD!! AND super cute!!!  So far I am delightfully surprised!

 

 

My final topic tonight is family, mainly siblings!  Y'all know I have already told u about my grandsons "sperm donor" and how he acted towards his son not to long back, right? Well, we ran into his other babies mommas tonight at Walmart!  These girls were the sweetest and guess what??  Just like Karsyn, these kids do not know their "sperm donor" either!!!!  We did decided to set up a play date because just because their dad isn't around, doesn't mean they don't have anyone.  I mean, in the long run, they will know each either and they will be able to help each other when needed!!  It really bothers me though because not one of these kids asked to be here and I don't think it is right that they have to suffer!!  so.......ladies with kids and your baby daddy has other kids by other women, please! Put your differences aside and let these kids know their siblings!! Cause y'all know what??  I know I am getting old and when I die.....guess who my kids will have???? each other!!!  And after seeing punks family this week at the funeral, I see how important siblings are and how one day, that's gonna be all we have.

Christmas too commercial??

In my opinion..... Yes!! When retailers are competing to get out all their Christmas stuff put out before Halloween now!! I really hate that!! I mean, come on!!! Lets get through one holiday at a time!! Let us enjoy seeing our kids dress as scary lil goblins...... Let us get through Thanksgiving and enjoy being thankful instead of worrying about what we want for Christmas!!

Christmas is a time of family..... And remembering the birth of our savior. I've tried to keep reminding my children this and I do it all year. My children know Christmas is about giving, helping those less fortunate, and being with our family.
To keep Christmas as simple as we can, my kids(my youngest) usually gets 3 gifts.... That he actually asks for. Sure, he will get a few extra small things... From his dad and I, and my oldest get a limit, 100.00. If there is something they want.... That gets deducted.
I'm thankful that I have kids who don't complain, our expect everything!! Makes me feel like I've done well so far on raising my kids!!
Also, with the spending limit and gift limit, it makes things less stressful for me and allows me to enjoy Christmas! No one wants to sit and watch their kids open all these big expensive gifts!! I mean, sure.. . It's nice to see your child happy! Sure,I wanna give my kids EVERYTHING they want.... But, do I honestly wanna sit there Christmas morning and be stressing the whole time because my bills fell behind? Our do I wanna go in debt just to see my kids happy, no! And my kids are good with that!! I pray that they learn from this and carry it on through their adulthood. And I have to say, I have to pray for strength to not give in to ask the commercialism of Christmas!! It's hard as a mom..... Cause if I could, I'd buy everything I saw for my kids and grandson!! So, it's not only a learning process for my children, but for me as well and it gets harder and harder each year!!
So, be strong! Set limits for yourself and kids!! Free yourself from financial worries and enjoy your family and lil ones this Christmas!😁

It's gonna be such a fun Christmas this year!!
